This is the last post resulting from my recent Locations Trip, I promise! (Apologies for the spam.)

We have the wonderful pakafe to thank for identifying the two locations used at Cannop Ponds. In episode 307 The Castle of Fyrien, our four young characters camp overnight on their way to said castle, and in episode 310 The Queen of Hearts, Arthur and Gwen ( Read more... )

Thank you for such a wonderful report. I particularly love your line-up shots (if that's the right term) with the ghostly images of the cast superimposed - it's as if the spirits of Arthur and Merlin live on in the woodland.

And the flowers! As you say, very romantic! <3

Thank you, my darling! I'm really glad you enjoyed this, and I love your idea of Arthur and Merlin still lingering there in some way... along with the flowers... ♥

Love your report. It is a good experience there and your mind can imagine all sorts of experiences
I love my flowers and look at them every day as I keep them in front of my computer screen.
Ahhhhh ..... at least Arthur was happy there and so was I.

Hey there, sweetheart! Thank you so so much for finding this location for us. I had such fun being there, even though it was mid-winter and hardly the right season for it. It's certainly a place to revisit... :-) And how lucky we both are to be able to have something of the magic at home with us now!

Thank you again! ♥

Thank you, my sweet! There's a lot of teamwork going on here, but I think pakafe deserves all the credit for this one. I was just so very happy to be able to follow in her footsteps. ♥

Another great report and as a fan of the woods in winter I thought your photos were very evocative.

Love the flower. Of course Colin left it there for you :)

Thank you, hon! It's an honour to brave icy water on your behalf... though, yes, a magic little coracle would have been cool, too. :-D

Yes, it seems our crew are very conscientious about leaving places as they found them, and under the circumstances, I certainly don't hold it against them that they left a few fake flowers behind! :-) And to think that all this involves not just a whole raft of people, but heavy equipment and horses, too. You're right - there's so much work going on behind the scenes, that most people couldn't even guess at. I have a tiny bit of experience, but I'm aware that's only enough to give me a vague idea of the size of the thing!

Thank you kindly re the flower. It's as good as real treasure to me! XD ♥
