Clearwell Caves

I'm making a bit of an assumption here… I know they filmed part of season two in Clearwell Caves in the Forest of Dean - and the first ep of the season, The Curse of Cornelius Sigan, uses caves that look somewhat like the photos I've seen of Clearwell Caves - so I'm going to risk putting two and two together and perhaps only making three. Thank you for the vote of confidence! I am itching to head over there and investigate, but am trying to make myself wait until after the Lancelot ep so I can also swing by Caerphilly Castle and concentrate on the bits they used for that. :-)

These caves seem a bit more interesting to me than the Chislehurst Caves, I must say. But with all of them, there's nice spooky stories about supernatural happenings. :-D I'll see if I can't get some photographic evidence of that as well!

I agree that Chislehurst Caves didn't look all that interesting but they probably filmed in the more modern sections, didn't they? Those caves are pretty old.

Oh, plus I'll look forward to seeing Caerphilly Castle, too. :D
