...but the other theory works too. I kinda chose to ignore the ring for fear of it belonging to some girl who broke his heart and caused him to wander around tavern-hopping the way he does. I don't see them doing an ep about Gwaine's past if there's only ten eps next season, but you never know. Anyway- ring definitely Eoin's doing. I doubt the writers tossed it on to provide intentional backstory.

Is it bad that I kind of want her to be dead. ._. He seems like someone who has no ties at all. And I don't want him to have abandoned her for drinking and gambling after what happened with his father dying and leaving them in a difficult situation. :(

It's actually a pretty coherent theory. :D No, I would never think that! D: I didn't at all think it was adorable when he got huffy when Merlin called him out about going on and on about what his dad was like when he never knew him. And then he retaliated by slapping Merlin on the thigh with the brush. No, my mind is absolutely not going to the gutter. No. :D
