Welcome to BBC’s Merlin Fanfiction Community. By joining the community, you're agreeing to all of the rules listed below. If you don't understand a rule or fear you're breaking or could break a certain rule, please contact us.
1.]This is primarily a fic community. We do not accept icon posts, general posts about the series or speculation, etc. We do allow related community promotions (e.g. pairing communities), fic rec lists, and others. If you’re wanting to post a promotion or notice for a community, rec list, etc. please contact us through the questions post. All posts must relate to the show.
2.] All types of stories are welcome: gen, het, slash, femslash, etc.
3.]Be respectful of other fans. We're all here for the same reason. If you feel that any discussion has gotten out of control, or you are worried about a comment, please contact the mods and we will deal with it as we see fit.
4.]Please post all stories behind an LJ-cut, no matter how short they are. If you are unsure how to do an lj-cut, please see this entry in the LJ FAQ. Posts that do not use an LJ cut will be deleted.
5.]Please post all stories with a header and the appropriate tags (see behind the cut).
6.]Please warn for spoilers (e.g. "Contains spoilers for up to 1x06"). Anything that could possibly ruin a plot point--even a fairly minor one--is considered a spoiler. If you aren't sure whether something is a spoiler or not, warn anyway.
7.]Please warn for any content that could be considered disturbing (rape, torture, incest, etc.)

Please tag for all the main characters in your story. If someone makes a brief appearance, you do not need to tag for them.
Pairing
-pairing: character a/character b[/character c] e.g. pairing: arthur/merlin
Please check the tags before starting a new pairing tag. It is possible the pairing you are writing is already there, but is in a different order than you originally looked for.
Length
-length: drabble
-length: one-shot
-length: multi-chapter
A drabble is anything around 100 words. A multi-chapteris anything with multiple chapters posted over a length of time. If your story is a one-shot that is over multiple posts due to LJ's character limit, please use one-shot, or contact us and we will add an "epic" tag.
Optional Tags
If your story is an au, please tag it with "au".
If there are any other tags you feel would work, please let us know and we'll likely add them.
