It seemes likely that Merlin and Arthur would keep bantering from two different planes of existence. I loved this story for that and the Snoopy mug and the hot water bottle. For a moment I thought Merlin would die and rejoin Arthur on the other side so the ending you have doesn't seem to me to be a terribly sad one, even though I might have sniffled for a moment. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, sorry. That should teach me not to comment at night. I meant Merlin dying would have been the saddest possibility of all and your ending was perfect because, while I still sniffled a little (I'm like that),it was much more hopeful.
