It was amazing. He did a mid-western American accent which was perfect. The cast were all wonderful but Sally Field was the star with her character’s fragility and desperation to believe her son was still alive.

Colin was terrific and brought the right note of happiness to utter despair so well.

Plus he stage doored last night. I was very happy.

I am so happy for you that you got to see it (and him at the stage door), but also so jealous! Dates for the US National Theatre Live shows haven't been announced yet, but I am hoping I'll get to see it this summer.
