I just got this email from Amazon.co.uk:

"We regret to report that the release of the following item has been cancelled:

Colin Morgan, et al "Merlin - Series 1 - Complete [DVD] [2008]"

This item has now been cancelled from your order #XXXXXXXXXXX and we can confirm that you have not been charged for it."

I contacted 2entertainDVD on Monday about the DVD dates and got no answer so far.

It seems there had been several cancellations at Amazon.co.uk and someone is contacting customer support to see if it's a bug.

That's not a bad idea. If they keep having problems though, maybe consider getting it from somewhere else?

Yes, it's available for preorder at Play.com and the BBC site and there's nothing about the cancellation there. I think it was a bug of Amazon's systems.

Amazon's special like that. Might be something to do with the release date being changed. I preordered a book a while ago that got repeatedly postponed for about six months and shortly before it was finally released Amazon cancelled it. I just redid the order and it was fine.
