Oh, wow. I really had to go back and take my time re-reading this one. It's really quite thought-provoking and works on so many levels since so many things are connected even though we don't realize they are related.

Heh. But I liked the original version which has an appeal all its own. ;D

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! I tried to connect things, so it didn't seem just like random details that I thought were lovely. ^^;;

I liked that original version, too! Apparently my brain liked this one better. Heaven forbid my brain doesn't get what it wants. (My superego and I are going to have a talk on it actually controlling my id one of these days, I swear.)
