Sorry Morgana fans, she’s not in this one and neither is Gwen

Geez, it's like they assume that Gwen doesn't have any fans at all.

We're not all shippers, Cult Fix. Some of us actually just like Gwen. Shocking, I know.

Well...
I guess it's just a case of playing to the wider audience.

I know, I know. I just really hope they have a Gwen-centric episode this year, completely unrelated to her role as love interest. Gaius seems to get one every year, and Angel deserves one.

But what is Gwen's role, other than Arthur's girlfriend? I have been trying to figure that out for awhile now. She was Morbitch's maid for two years, but then her employer disappeared for a year, and it was never explained what exactly she did in the palace during that year, or who she was serving. Did they have floating maids for palaces back then? Okay, so then Morbitch came back, and she was serving her again. Then Morbitch got run out of Camelot, and Gwen was assigned to taking care of the failing king, (something that a woman of that time would never, ever be doing--I just cringed when she started unbuttoning Uther's nightshirt to treat his wound in this last ep. No woman would be allowed to see a man unclothed that was not her husband!) That was a rather far fetched assignment, seeing as how he killed her father and tried to have her killed, but whatever. And now...what exactly is it she's doing now, other than the romantic interest? Advising evil Uncle Aggravaine? Putting flowers on Lancelot's grave? What ( ... )
