I really liked this, especially the second half when Merlin returns, with Arthur blindsided by his attraction to Merlin, and being all jealous and tormented because he didn't think they would be allowed to be together. And then when they finally do get together and Merlin is so hopeful and wanting. I really liked Morgana in this, too, how she could be if she still wanted to help Arthur instead of being consumed by her hatred of Uther, being Arthur's sister in a way she never got to in the show.

Hey, thanks a lot, I'm so happy you liked it! I'm so pleased you liked Morgana in this. I was a bit sad to lose her to the dark side in canon, I think she and Arthur as siblings would actually work pretty well. :)

*squeaks* ZOMG THIS IS AMAZING!! I've always been curious about this kind of AU, and you portrayed it wonderfully! A Camelot where magic was never outlawed, the dragons still free, Merlin and Arthur growing up together -- so wonderful!

I also love the similarities. It seems that no matter what 'verse, Arthur is still oblivious until the last minute. *giggles*

Dear author, I want to marry this fic and live with it happily ever after ♥_____♥ JUST LIKE ARTHUR AND MERLIN!! :D This is amazing beyond words. And your Sapkowski reference!! I thought I was imagining things at first and then I saw the end notes and I nearly flailed right off my chair!

I really enjoyed this. It was lovely to see how they grew up together, dealt with the separation and I loved how Merlin managed to keep in touch with Arthur. Fantastic stuff, thank you for sharing. Also, was it The Master and Margarita? *scratches head* it sounds familiar but IDK... it's late and I should be in bed!
