No that's not it, this was a short story with only Merlin/Arthur as the pairing and only about 2k long and it was on archive of our own, thanks though x

And sadly, for number one, I know the stories you meant, they were called Brothers Reunited and The Truth of our Father but unfortunately the authors have deleted them. Maybe someone has copies somewhere? It's worth asking.
