Celebratory challenge: We have a tie!
First of all, congratulations to all the contestants because I think all the drabbles were awesome (I seriously have never been happier of not being allowed to vote). We hope you all enjoyed participating as much as we enjoyed running this short challenge! The comments in the voting post are unscreened now.

"Are you sure?" He looked into the knight's eyes, willing him to change his answer.
Bran had arrived at Camelot barely three months ago, and it was clear that he idolized the Crown Prince.
"Yes, sire." The young man sounded painfully earnest. "It was indeed sorcery; I saw it with my own eyes."
Arthur's lips were set in a thin line. How could Bran spend so much time under his command, and not realize how much Merlin meant to him?
"Very well." Arthur's voice was flat. "I will inform my father of this matter personally. You’re dismissed."

Merlin doesn’t move. Arthur raises his eyebrows at his servant’s disobedience; it’s a clear order given from Crown Prince to servant, and yet Merlin does not follow it.
“Leave, Merlin.” Arthur tries a blunter approach, but still his servant fails to move. Arthur needs Merlin to follow his order; the news he has recently received is causing emotions to build up inside him, emotions that are threatening to overwhelm him. He doesn’t want Merlin to be here when they break him.
His breathing begins to become erratic, and suddenly Merlin’s at his side. “I’m staying here, with you.”
