: Bradley James Talks About the Fifth and Final Season of Merlin (mild S5 spoilers).
“In the beginning of series 5, like a giant Zeppelin in the sky, Camelot soars,” James explained. “It’s in a great place and for Arthur, he achieved the world that he wanted to achieve in Camelot. With that has come the development of his relationships Merlin, with regards to Merlin being more of an advisor as opposed to a servant and also, Arthur’s relationship with his knights is so concrete that he can rely on his knights in any situation as he can rely on Merlin. Obviously, his knights don’t have magic and what have you, but they would be willing to lay down their lives for him and he the same for them as well, so he has very strong relationships with the people closest to him.”
