However, James added that he would "never say never" to reprising his role of King Arthur in a future Merlin movie. "In a situation like that, if someone came along with a script that really excited me, it would be very difficult to say no," he admitted. "But it would have to be for the right reasons. If we were to do a film... it would have to be worth making."
