Richard Wilson, together with Labour shadow chancellor Ed Balls MP and shadow chief secretary Rachel Reeves MP, visited St. Albans supermarket to talk to pensioners about a pending measure to raise their taxes, also known as the "granny tax." Labour is against the measure, as according to the party "'well over half' of the pensioners affected by the ‘granny tax’ will be well below the average taxpayer income." (via

Eoin Macken
♦ Photographer Leigh Keily posted a
photo of Eoin on her blog: ”Whipped into the countryside the other day with actor Eoin Macken to take some portraits… my Tetris skills came to a whole new level trying to shove him, and about 8 big photo bags into the back of a mini.”
♦ Eoin also answered a fan question about acting compared to writing via his Twitter:
chocolat_eyes: @eoincmacken when u play a character do u feel same feeling as when u write about a character?
eoincmacken: @_chocolat_eyes hey,U don't give up with that question-I admire your tenacity!-when I write I usually feel the emotions from the character..it depends on the character I'm playing but I always feel what character feels&try make him a part of me, like with Gwaine..
