I love sandwiches and there are certain ones that I get pretty passionate about. There is one that has always caused me to jump up and down with glee. It has to be perfect though. What, your after-Thanksgiving series isn't on that?

Hot eggplant parm sub is one of my favorites. I also love fried egg/cheese/taylor ham on a roll. And grilled cheese & bacon on whole wheat. Mmm...

I've never had a fried egg sandwich. We were more of a scrambled egg with cheese and tomato on toast kind of family. Eggplant parms are amazing.

A fried egg sandwich with taylor ham is classic NJ food. :) Every diner makes it. I used to walk up to the "roach coach" at college and get egg & taylor ham on a roll and a cup of too-sweet coffee once a week between classes. That guy made a good sammich!

If Mom was doing the breakfast sandwich, though, it'd be scrambled egg with cheese on whole wheat. No tomato, though, because I'm only now just starting to eat raw tomato.
