Wait ... it's Aural Intensity?

Not Oral?

This makes me inexplicably sad.

[Other things that make me sad:
1. Still not having seen The Eagle2. Sitting in an Anthropology class with 20 people and realizing that the Austrian girl next to me is the only one who also thinks that there's something wrong with the gun law in this country ( Read more... )

Hehe, glad you agree!

And yes, I've missed you too! I really need to try and post more often again!

Did you hear that the Borders at Ithaca Mall is closing? So sad!

I heard and my first thought was, "Well, damn. Where am I supposed to meet my friends now?" Borders is a very convenient meeting place!

Oh, I actually saw The Eagle tonight! And yes, the homoerotic tension is delicious ... as long as I don't start thinking too closely about stupid imperialist Romans oppressing poor native tribes, or the fact that there is literally no female character in this movie - my slasher heart doesn't care, but the feminist in me is appalled.

Also: we are going to Mongolia. To see the desert Gobi. It's going to be amazing.

Oh, I'm good, thank you for asking, dear!!! Just super busy, I don't know how other people are enrolled in school and active in fandom at the same time. I was never that busy when I had a regular nine to five job.

#2: Yes, it's sad. It still seems weird to me that people use the line "Guns don't kill people. People kill people" as an argument to give guns to as many people as possible. Somehow their logic seems warped.

How are you doing? I hope everything is well!

Just got a new Volkswagen Polo :) from Wolfsburg!

Work is busy, so I don't have much more fandom time than an occaisonal story and a random LJ comment.
Times when I inhaled fic for 5 hours straight are long gone.
Sadly.

I too thought it was Oral Intensity. And the last episode of Glee was surprising, to say the least. I've read comments saying it was the best episode ever, but there was some pretty epic fails IMO. Kurt was particularly annoying but at the same time, it's Glee, and the characters are young so I can't expect them to be right all the time. I don't know. It left me more confused than anything else.

Wow, you're going to Asia? That's great! :)

Haha, glad I'm not the only one!

Re: Glee. Too be honest, I was more annoyed with Blaine and Rachel this week; but mostly, I was just mad at the writers for (a)completely butchering a bunch of characters once again, (b) dealing with the issue of bisexuality in such a dismissive, condescending way, and (c) just making such a f***g mess of everything again.

Definitely not my favorite episode. But I have hope that the next two will be better, hehe. "Don't stop believing", I guess.

Hey, sugar!

You're approaching the territory of middle America, darling. I apologize in advance for them.
Oh, I love living in the states, I have met the most amazing people here! But to be honest, there are certain topics that I've started to avoid in conversations if I don't know people well enough, such as death penalty, gun laws, abortion, wars in general and particular, etc.

Why does the last episode make you sad?

It was just such a freaking mess.

Careful, here comes a rant!I was mad that the writers expected us to believe that Rachel would go from giving Kurt relationship advice to dating the boy that he liked, and that Blaine would go from telling Kurt that he doesn't want to screw up their friendship to dating his female friend ( ... )
