While a useful technique to get Cain's mind off the pain treating his wound would cause, I'm not so sure if it was a deterrent for him not to get hurt again. ;)

And now I have this image of Cain "accidently" getting hurt so DG has to heal him. And everyone but DG perfectly aware he's doing it on purpose.

I don't think he would really need to 'accidentally' anything... it just happens to him... perhaps he is cursed. *nods* he keeps going but bullets, trouble and fists just keep finding him.
