Excuse me while I question bombard you ;;

1. Electrical stuff doesn't work because of a lack of that, but how about anything technological that doesn't require recharging? Akgi's AT (motorised two-wheeled rollerblades) essentially recharge themselves when being used, so would they still work?

2. Akgi...whee, MPD fun. I'm curious though...the Second Level's all that thought sort of thing, right? Akito and Agito quite often spend a lot of time in their mind, to the point of communicating and seeing each other in it as two different people. Would you expect that to have any impact on the Second Level at all? Like a) people in it see them as two people or b) the fact they're sending thoughts out constantly might pick up on it?

Questions? BRING 'EM ON! :D

1) Yes! As they recharge themselves, they would still work! They'd just fall under the same rules as anything (IE, power-nerf if they can OHKO a building)

2) To start, it will only be one personality appearing on the Second Level and the other talking in his head. So pretty much like normal. But with practice, both personalities can manifest at once. Expect this practice to be interrupted many times by being kicked off the level, but it's still possible!

Otherwise, Akgi has the same restrictions as everyone. No moving on the first level, can only see themselves through the glass floor yadda yadda

I have a silly question, that maybe it was answered in the FAQ and I'm just stupid enough to not see it.

I saw that AUs are allowed, as long as they have the conditions that were previously stated, but kind of AUs are allowed? Or it's all good? I'm asking because I'm interested in bringing a genderbert character (this one!), and while I know how to make it fit in the conditions, I wanted to know if it was allowed?

Thanks ;u;

I, for one, love silly questions, so it's all okay!

Yes, it's all good, as long as the AU isn't something completely unreasonable or it makes the character unrecognizable. Play around with your AUs all you want, we only ask that you show how this AU affects the character.

So, in Beatrice's case here, we'd just want your app to show how being male has affected his history or his personality or anything else.

Ohai there,

I have a question regarding the characters that can be applied. There is this thing called Fate/Apocrypha, which is basically the cancelled drafts for an online Fate/Stay Night game. There are characters with back story and personality, but no actual "canon" as the game never happened.

I was wondering if that sort of character would be acceptable.

I think this might be the only case of characters with absolutely no history I have ever heard of. wth FSN.

That said, normally this would be an outright no. This will count as an exception since the characters in the link are well-developed enough to stand on their own. We still won't accept an OU version (considering there's no history at all what), but you can make an AU of these characters, following the usual guidelines.

That's completely cool with us. :D

That's awesome, I'm aware that there are others which might be interested on playing these guys too, so apps might happen later.

Thanks!

Where do you guys stand on customizable player characters from video games?

Completely okay! meridianmods August 14 2011, 02:02:42 UTC
I'm sorry, but could you please elaborate a little on this? We're not entirely sure what kind of characters you mean, as it depends on the character, really. If they're a completely blank slate, we won't really have much canon to work with them. While, if they have a defined or basic personality, we do have more to work with.

Say, for example, Commander Shepard from Mass Effect. The character's not a total OC, but is customizable based on the dialog you choose, the jobs you complete, and how you complete them. That sort of thing.

First of all, I'm very sorry for the late reply! I wanted to discuss this with the other mods first.

Anyway, in a case like Shepard's, we think there is enough canon on him for him to be appable, yes. However, we have to ask for him to be AU, due to how customizable he is.
