[Raf is still trying to get the hang of this place, and by get the hang of it he means figure out anything at all about it. People are generally a good place to start, and more so this time when there are so few of them about. So when he sees the boy he heads towards him. He's not sure what's with all the children about, it seems quite odd.]

I couldn't help but overhear that you're hungry. There appears to be some food in a couple of the empty buildings, if you're alright with simply taking it.

[He half-shrugs.]

There isn't anyone in the stores to take payment that I could see, nor are there automatic checkouts.

[And fear of being arrested for theft is hardly Raf's primary concern at the moment. Not when he has so many others to choose from.]

[Oh, a person! Red stops politely to look over and listen.]

Ah, hello...

I'm not sure if I should do that, though. I wouldn't want to take them without permission...

But, thank you! I'll keep that in mind. Is this city called anything...?

It wasn't my first choice, but in the absence of anyone who could swipe my card I didn't have a ton of options. It tasted quite off, though, so you're probably right to be cautious.

[Assuming his tastebuds misfiring isn't the result of some other issue, and Raf is having other sensory input issues, so it could be anything.]

I'm afraid I just got here myself, so while I'm sure it is, I don't know what its name would be.

[That sounds suspicious, indeed. Then again, in a seemingly empty city... What much can they expect?

And at the latter statement, Red now realizes that they're not the only ones, then... There could be others just like them, too.]

west side

[ While on the west side of town, one might find a girl walking around in a dress. She looks rather annoyed, considering she's frowning a little, but it's just her default expression, really. When she spots either of the guys she does raise an eyebrow slightly curiously, but she doesn't speak up just yet. ]

[Oh look, it's a human being. Someone who probably has a better idea than Green does as to where and what this city is in the first place.

So he approaches here, stopping a few feet away, head tilted slightly to the side and with a cocky grin on his lips.] You there, in the dress. Could you tell me what this place is called?

[irrationaling]

I have a name.

[ That cocky grin is met by a frown - a near glare - on her side, as she stops in her tracks and crosses her arms. ]

So does this place. It's called Meridian.

[hailforward]

That's a start, at least. [Meridian. He's never heard of such a city before but the name itself sounds like it could be not far from where he lives. However he ended up here.

The glare does get a short, confident grin out of him as he offers a hand to the girl.] And while we're at name's, I'm Green Oak. You?

East Side

[There's a dragon crouching low in one of the alleyways, staring at you, Red. He pads out a little and the light glints off of his scales.]

It's a Pokemon that Red has never seen before. He simply must... register it...!!

Within a flash of a second, Red is suddenly kneeling down in front of the dragon's view. Of course, he keeps a good distance as not to scare the little guy.]

Hello...!

[Nothing but a smile here. That is... until he recalls what Green told him earlier-]

[Would it be weird if he asked this dragon for directions? ... Of course it would. So, he doesn't say anything else but wait for a reaction.]

[After running into yet another newcomer, MOMO's finally begun to explore the west side of the city in earnest. Even with a mental map of the city done, she'd rather see it herself.

Which is how she ends up running into someone else, in what she'd thought was a deserted street.]

[After that unexpected bump, Red quickly steps back and raises a palm to indicate that he didn't mean it.]

[She stumbles back, one hand raised to her chest.]

Oh! No, I'm sorry! I didn't see you there... [That had been careless, she should have been able to sense him coming.]

I guess it's both our fault for not looking, then.

[Despite that little moment, and how lost he is right now, Red still smiles out.]

West Side

[Karkat is wandering the west side with his items in hand. He is looking for a place to settle down and try to gather his thoughts, but he hasn't found one that's sufficient. He realizes how stupid he must look, wandering around with a handful of random personal possessions.]

[hailforward]

[Probably not as different from the Gym Leader wandering around a little aimlessly, hands in his pockets and an unhappy scowl on his face.

But the scowl in question lessens a bit once Green spies Karkat, relieved to have finally found someone else in this city.] Hey, you! With the black-hair, do you have a minute to spare?

Not particularly, but I guess I can take a minute out of my very important life to help out an insignificant pink monkey. Think of me as your fucking fairy godmother.

[He's probably being sarcastic, but he stops anyway, rearranging the stuff in his arms as he stares at him expectantly. He seems pissed that he doesn't respond within two seconds.]

[Maybe it's the horns and grey skin that don't make Green respond right away because they are rather unusual. At least to him. So he gives Karkat a small once-over, eyebrow quirking up. But who's Green to question however someone dressed up for a costume party? ...Or the pink monkey comment. That one did manage to make him roll his eyes.]

Well then Granny, any idea where this city is and what it's called and if there's a way back to the Kanto region?
