[To say that Castle is confused is putting it lightly.

A tall man with brown hair has suddenly appeared on one of the bridges spanning between the halves of the city- which was curious, considering that he'd just been sitting by a crappy motel pool with Beckett after his close call with the Triple Killer.

He tries hard not to panic.]Beckett? ...

[If the weird place doesn't cement it, maybe this tall, lanky kid with gray skin, horns, yellow eyes, clown make-up, and a parasol does? He seems to be ambling along with his hand pressed against something castle can't see, his eyes fixed on his feet like he's walking on a tightrope.]

[It takes Castle a moment to notice the kid, and he stares in utter bewilderment for a while, watching as he seems to be walking forward but never making any progress.

Eyebrows furrowed, Castle cautiously approaches him. Is this kid on his way to a party or something...? He finds himself lost for words, a very rare occurrence]

Uh... hello?

[The boy's head jerks up, and he goggles at Castle as though the man appeared out of thin air.] Woah, motherfucker! Where you all been hiding? [looking around in astonishment]

[Castle takes a step back.]

I wasn't hiding. Or... well, I thought I wasn't. I just- suddenly appeared here.

No matter the place you were before, you're right. This isn't that place anymore.

[ She doesn't seem to recognize the quote, so perhaps she's taking it a bit literally. Either way there's a girl standing on the west half of the side, staring at the man with her arms crossed. ]

[Castle smiles a little at the girl.]

Yeah, I can tell. But... where IS here? One minute I was in New York City and now... I'm gone.

'Here' would be Meridian. Its location other than the city name is still unknown to us.

[ She's not quite smiling back - her face is rather pokerface-like at the moment. ]

[Still confused, Castle nods nonetheless. He's trying hard to keep his cool and keep joking about it, but he's finding that a little difficult.]

... Is it on planet Earth, at least? Or do you not know even that much?

There's no Meridian in Kansas.

[Castle blinks at the young man.]

I've never been to Kansas, so I couldn't tell.

I haven't been to Kansas either. [Pause while B nibbles at the tip of his thumb, as if thinking hard about something.] You can't be somewhere anymore if you were never there in the first place.

[Castle smirks a little at that.]

True enough. I was mostly quoting something to covey how... lost I am.

[Souji is just casually strolling by, crossing the bridges like he does every day, searching for clues. Hey look at this, someone looks lost.]

Ah ... hello? Are you all right?

[Castle has been wandering some more, still not quite wanting to accept that he's not in his home any longer. He looks frazzled at this point, and gives a half-nod.]

I'm trying to find someone I know. Anyone.

[That annoying habit of offering help is still ingrained on him. Here goes nothing ... ]

Maybe I can help. There aren't many people here, and I think I've met most of them.

I'd appreciate it. The woman I'm looking for... tall, brown hair down to her shoulders, probably carrying a police badge. Kate Beckett is her name. One minute it was nighttime and we were sitting together... next, I'm here.

Oh, and Castle is my name. Rick Castle.

[Kansas what's a Kansas. Harry hears the quite-lost-sounding man and pretty much rushes over out of instinct.]

Are you alright, sir?

[Castle hears the young man approaching and tilts his head.]

A little lost, to tell you the truth. I've seen several people so far, but I'm not sure how I got here. Or where my partner is.

Well, we're all stuck in a city that no one's ever heard of, so I'd say it's pretty normal to be lost.

[He frowns in sympathy but says nothing else; being separated from friends was never fun, he's just not quite sure what he could say that would be any use.]

[Castle gives a heavy sigh, the fact that he might truly be stuck here, with no way to find Alexis or his mother or Beckett, starting to worm in.]

It helps to know I'm not alone, at least.
