A trip onto the second level might reveal a young girl, wandering around as if in a daze. Unlike a few of the others affected during this week, she doesn't look any different than usual. Physically, at least.]

*Enoch has absolutely no idea what she means by "sensors" or "database", obviously, and didn't quite manage to pick up too much of the words themselves. But context is a wonderful thing. Sola had said everyone had become human, even those who weren't, and this girl is confused. Not exactly rocket science. He approaches her with a neutral, polite smile.*

It does... You're the second I've seen that didn't know.

*And that's just a bit disturbing, to him. He knows Heaven takes a hands-off approach to humanity, but if it goes this far...*

Does everyone know about Heaven where you're from?

Not in the same concrete way that I've experienced it. But most know it's there.

Really? How do they know about it?

Mostly on faith, since God hasn't interacted directly with men since the first two generations. But these generations have passed on their stories to us. We know because of their words.

*Of course, this is coming from someone who has the luxury of being part of the seventh generation. His world isn't very skeptical yet.*

[Oh, that does sound a bit like the stories of some ancient religions. What little she knows of them, anyway.] The stories have survived for a really long time then, haven't they?

For several hundred years now, yes. *Enoch averts his eyes.* But people like you are proof they won't survive indefinitely...

Everyone I've met here is either from my future or a place I've never seen, even from Heaven...

I'm sorry... I'm sure there has to be someone who remembers those stories too.

[And here she gets an idea!] Back home... I had a few friends who knew a lot about things from the past. Maybe they knew about Heaven too.

If there was some way to go home from here, I would appreciate the effort. But I haven't found a way out, and...to be honest, I haven't been trying very hard. I can't abandon my friend Armaros here. This city is the only safe haven he has for now.
