*Enoch is exploring, himself. He and Dave would look odd to one another, certainly. Dave's sword draws the scribe's attention immediately, and Enoch's odd armor will likely stand out to the time traveler in turn, and if not that, the strange object attached to the back of his jeans.

For the moment, he's looking at that sword, wondering how someone could carry a weapon so large.*

[It catches Dave's attention, certainly. But he has trained himself to not be surprised by anything at all, so he just eyes him warily before moving forward towards him.]

Cool, just wanted to know where Enoch would stand before I went assuming things!

*The brusque greeting gets Enoch to withdraw in kind, more than he would normally allow when meeting someone else. His posture tightens.*

[It seems like Dave still isn't really making much progress towards actually learning anything about the city and is instead socializing with its inhabitants.]

*Enoch's posture slowly eases as he looks down at his armor, confused.*

My armor? Not particularly. It's rather light, and I'm used to it.

I'm not certain. *Enoch had wondered if this was a native, but the way he said it, like he was looking for an answer, himself, seemed to prove otherwise.* It's only been a few hours since I found myself here.

[He does not want the other to get the idea that he is trying to become affectionate or anything. He just feels that if they're both equally as confused then it might help to try to investigate.]

*Enoch tilts his head at first. It's clear he doesn't know what "no homo" means. But at least he understands the rest of that. He smiles politely, though it seems to not quite reach his eyes - not so much insincere as it is a social formality.* I agree. My name is Enoch.

*He's one to talk, he's had some ridiculous aliases over the years. "Gale Raziya", really?*

[He crosses his arms across his chest and tilts his head to the side in thought.]

*Under most circumstances, that would put Enoch on the defensive. But he's more or less decided this is all in good fun.*

I'm afraid there's nothing "fluffy" about him. You have similar senses of humor, that's all.
