One of the sad things about the show was that they had that huge emotional scene in 'Heart' at the end, and then we went on a month-long hiatus, and when the show came back, they really couldn't pick back up on the emotional fallout of that episode, and ever since then, they've mostly ignored it, which I feel is a downright crime

I know what you mean about the emotional dearth after the episode. It's really played out over and over in my head. I've watched the ep many times at this point, and I kept going back to what was going to happen immediately after.

I mean, you know they had to do something to clean up. They couldn't just leave. So, Sam (and Dean) would have to cope.

And yeah, I can do Win!cest, but I need a reason for it beyond: OMG, hot. They are, no doubt, but I can't just go to to the porn. Some kind of reason. *g*

The ending of "Heart" was wrenching for both Dean and Sam, and cried out for fill-in, which, aside from brief mention at the beginning of "Hollywood Babylon," we never got. Your story did the perfect job, not only of filling in the blanks of how they got rid of Madison's body, but the emotional fallout for both Sam and Dean, which we know had to be incredibly difficult. I love what you did here. Robin
