Hooray! I've been waiting for someone to write a satisfying (hopefully long) Slave!Snape/Master!Harry story. I've noticed that people tend to either abandon or rush through Slave!Snape fics and no one has really done the concept justice. Looking forward to reading your story. :)

Heh. Thanks. I've just started it and it's going to be long. You know it takes me a while. It's going to be a couple of months, I'm afraid. I'll need to beat both of them into submission. :-)

I just started it. :-) It's going to be long, too. I can tell already, Snape is soooo not going along with things. And Harry is so going to make him. Just as soon as he figures out how.

I'm dying to know how he does it.*G*

I can just see how pissed off he must be, to be landed with Snape. If it's his own choice to keep Snape from something worse, what a bloody bugger it'll be to deal with the recalcitrant bastard. If it's that he wanted to torment Snape, that'll be equally interesting. I'm all for that, too. :D

He didn't want Snape, not really. He had to agree to it, to keep Snape out of Azkaban where some of the other Death Eaters were and wanted to kill him.

As for me, the longer the better; I love long fics. And it seems to me that when you write long fics, they turn out better too 'cos you have space to let your characters show themselves properly. Besides, really, how could Snape, in his current state of hate towards Harry (and opposite is true too), come to terms with his enslavement to Harry quickly? He couldn't, right?

No, he couldn't. And that's the hard part, but the fun part. Making him not only come to terms with it, but come to love Harry, too. I love a challenge. And that really is going to be one. :-)

Like I said, this is going to take me a while, to write.

Eeee! I love me some slave!fic, esp. when canonical hate is not glossed over. The further the characters have to go, the more rewarding the not-so-punny climax is. Can't wait. :))

No gloss-over here. I wish there was. These guys are being very hateful right now. It's going to take a long while for them to work out thier differences. :-)

Slave!Snape, oh goody! What I love about this sort of story is the way the power structure is turned on its ear. Even more satisfying is if the relationship eventually falls into a more or less equal footing. The struggle to reach that point, when done by somebody who can manage characterization (you!) is quite yummy.

It won't fall into completely equal footing stince there won't be a miracle and suddenly Snape isn't a slave anymore. But there will be equalizing factors -- like them being in love with each other. And a few other surprises. But those are a bit down the road. First they have to stop hating each other.
