Glad to hear it went OK. And next year, you totally deserve a day at the parks!

And yes, this is writing! More than I've managed to do, too.

It was a lot of fun. But yeah, I'd like to get to one of the parks once in a while. :-) Maybe I just need to go back for one of the other events.

You are so epically busy that it's a wonder you have time to read anything let alone write anything fannish.

Funnnnnnnn! :D I am running the Destina Challenge on Friday. (The NeverLand Fun Run at Disneyland.) I was planning to do the 10K also on Saturday but life interfered. (Also, for values of "run" = sometimes, walk other times. ) And yeah, it is kind of a hilarious conundrum re having to walk everywhere to do anything fun at Disney, and also walk to and from race starts/finishes, and...yeah, irony. I always look forward to going back to the room and having Mickey waffles. *g*

That's awesome. Any race is good. Given your job, it's amazing that you have time for any training at all. Good luck on Friday.

And yeah, it's a solid 20 minute walk from the runner's village to get to the start for the full and the half. People who are doing it for the first time always look confused. Are we there yet? :-)

This was fun. Next year, I think the Goofy and a day in the parks.

Thanks, m'dear.

I really am hoping to post more often this year. We'll see if I actually do it.

I agree, getting up at 3am is quite horrifying. But necessary since it's Florida and you want as much of the race done before the sun comes up as possible.

Ah, yes... I keep forgetting about that Florida heat!

The humidity is so much worse than the actual heat...
