I don't usually dig this sort of artistic expression, but I like this. Especially the tree and couch ones.

My faves are Salvador Dali and Monet. I don't really have favorite types of art, but Spalenka reminds me of the abstract emotional art like Basquiat as far as the emotional response it evokes except Spalenka is more realistic, so I can deal with it better. I guess b/c he uses people as a focal point (something I don't typically enjoy unless it's very realistic), but the way he puts it all together...I can enjoy it.

I don't know too much about art from an educational POV. LOL I had an art history class last semester, but I dropped the class before we got past the Renaissance. I don't like art from that period.

I like these, they look archetypical - like tarot cards. I wonder what they mean.

some I think are pretty straightforward. The others - I love a painting that tells you a soul/subconscious/intuitive story... you can put one on your wall and commune with it for years. It's better not to have anyone tell you what it means....just have that exchange and learn whats inside yourself also.
