I think my Mom may be a subconscious slasher. She keeps suggesting various NHL hockey players marry each other. Usually for hilarious name combinations, but still.

Bouillon/Khabiboulin at the moment, because she's a dork. She had another one I forget. It's a normal thing for her to say during a game, anyhow.

And OMG forbidden goalie love! So tragic.

I'm a total dork as well, because I find Bouillon/Khabiboulin kinda hilarious.

Carey was awesome tonight. Some of those early saves were amazing. I really don't know wtf the Canadiens were thinking, not having a more veteran goaltender around for the playoffs. Ok, I have an idea what they (for "they" read "Bob Gainey") were thinking, and I think it's idiotic. You can't count on any young player to do well in the playoffs, let alone a rookie goalie. I just hope Price isn't too traumatized by the whole experience.

Hee! My mother, OTOH, nearly had a coronary over some fairly tame remarks I made about Brooks Laich and Mike Green (who I think are totally adorable together, and IMO if they're not doing each other it's only because it hasn't occurred to them yet).

Coco Crisp has the silliest name ever. I was just remarking about him the other day.

I'm relatively sure the guy's mother didn't name him Coco--which means he chose it, which is even worse.

But Milton Bradley? Dude. If his parents actually gave him that name they should be ashamed of themselves. Or maybe incarcerated. Or both.
