Yeah, at CHRISTMAS TIME which is really kind of a no-go where I'm concerned because I have, like 5 CHRISTMASES to attend and about one week off. Also no money.

I mean, if there was another fangirl pilgrimage to the Sound Academy I might have to show my face, but otherwise =/.

That is all. Except that my great-grandfather was called Max, so I approve of it as a name.

Oh, and Kitty!Max may not be all that well-behaved during his period of adjustment to his new home, even if he has a great disposition normally. When I brought Young Miss Weaver home, she spent the first 13 hours hiding out in the bathtub. Actually, at some point in the night she left the bathtub long enough to poop on the bathroom floor, but by morning she was back in the tub. Please note that I had carefully left the litter box in the tub overnight so she'd have access to it. Fortunately she hasn't had any accidents since that first night. Mind you, I don't think I could classify that as an accident. It was quite obviously deliberate ( ... )

Oh, yes, I expect he'll be a little squirrely first thing. I don't know if he's ever moved house before (likely) but he's certainly only had one person before, so it'll all be a bit of a shock.

The bathroom will be the base of Operation Acclimation, for sure. I have light-coloured upholstery. :P (He's declawed, so scratching won't be a thing.)

So, all the news about Asuncion is kind of making me crazy. Because it's like yaaaay! Jesse has a new thing! That he wrote! And it sounds AWESOME. HI DUGRIVAL. I am hoping to defend in January! Wheeee! And I get the kitty TOMORROW. Also I am going to a concert tonight. Hooray!

I DON'T KNOW WHY THAT FIC ISN'T ALREADY A THING. Someone should request it for a 'fest or TSN Secret Santa or somethiiiiing. I want it in my life.

And RIGHT, I so want to see it, because apparently it is jokes and also thinky, like Jesse himself. Flisties of mine have spoken to Jesse! And though he is gracious, he clearly is a little mehhhh about greeting the post-show crowds so even if I DID get to go, I'd never sack up enough to go bother him. :3
