Oh maaaaan! I was ready for this to be the last season of SPN! Heck, I was ready for season FIVE to be the last season of SPN. Things have just gotten so wonky, but apparently I CAN'T STOP WATCHING until it's really over. SIGH. I wish I trusted them to keep the show awesome, but you're right, there will at least be shiny moments of awesome and Cas and whatnot mixed in there.

I am pretty sure the politics portion of this post is written in code.

I know, right? I'm like, "shit, what are they going to do next season, continue this "mother" thing?" but on the other hand there is Cas! And lolz! Fanservice and eyecandy! IDK.

Canadian politics are complicated by the facts that you have one vote to address what is really two questions, a fundamentally non-proportional system, and choices on the left. Strategic voting! Minorities! Coalitions! Floor-crossing! Drama! Slap-fights!

The fun right now is that a moderate socialist party, the New Democrats are making a historic surge in the polls right now. They've never formed a federal government, but they're at 2nd place in the nation right now and actually leeching some votes from the Conservatives instead of just from the badly split left. It's exciting. :D We have to see how it plays out at the riding level, though (ridings = electoral divisions).
