Weirdly enough, I remember thinking while watching the first movie - which, not an experience I have cared to renew - that the music on the soundtrack was really pretty good. So, IDK. Hopefully it will bring them lots of money and exposure, while not actually making them less awesome? Hopefully.

Yeah, in general the soundtrack is pretty respectable! I just... association. Contact fail and supplanting the hipster fanbase with the teenager fanbase (not necessarily all bad... some of those hipsters are douches.) But how much does one even want one's music 'fandom' to intersect with Twilight's?! Augh.
