Kitty! On the other hand, In other news, I am going to Ottawa this weekend. 6 hour bus journey, here I come!

Kitties are wonderful snuggles, but crazy grad student schedule and travelin' Meres makes me wonder if these things are good for kitty. /woe\

Kitties are okay over weekends, and I do have folks I could get to look after the kitty if I leave for longer...

But yeah, that's one of the things, too. I don't travel much, but it has to be considered anyway...

That's my acid test for myself, anyway. It has reined me in on more than a few occasions. *wistful sigh* I reeeeeeeally miss having a lap creature.

i'm with SD and mal. as long as you're certain about wanting a cat, i say GO FOR IT, HOW AWESOME WOULD THAT BE, but if you're just responding to cute kitty faces and aren't sure you will have time for taking care of/loving it, then maybe not right now?
