Well, you saw the Opening Ceremony, right? And there was cauldron malfunction? They had repair-guy mime come out and raise the fourth support like he was pulling it up with a rope, and then Catriona appeared from a trap door looking all WTF! and then lit the arm she was supposed to in the opener.

:D?

Ha, that's awesome! I just turned on the closing ceremonies. Screw the homework!

Also, I can't believe it's over! I feel like it just started :-( Aaaaand the blind x-country 50K skier didn't get to compete today. Woe! But one of our guys came in 5th, which wasn't too bad.

This song is a little repetitive, isn't it?

ALL the Olympic songs are repetitive, idk. At least it doesn't hurt my ears like "I Believe."

Can we just replace every performance with Metric, or something?
I tend to have this attitude about most musical performances during massive events. (Emmy ♥) It's no surprise that the lineup was, more or less, a steaming pile of horse sh*t.

At least you embrace the silly. Here we tend to be well-versed in nonsense (solely in nonsense, mind you), which we then like to sell off as the god's-honest-truth!

Just remember, Meres. At least you will never have to be reminded that you share a country with Glenn Beck :\
