It's a couple days late, but here's my present for ukekenshin. Happy 18th birthday.

This is an FFX fic, set shortly before the events of the game. Auron/Tidus...if that's not your thing, don't read.

You did good, hun. I haven't seen the game all the way to the end but I think you've set something good up here. I like the control you've given Auron and the tucking into bed when they were done.

Pregame was the only thing that made sense for this, unless I wanted to figure in where everyone else was and why Tidus would be drinking on the pilgrimage. And "set something good up" implies that I'll be continuing this...which I won't, unless the porn muses get greedy again.

Original plan for writing this only had them kissing. Greedy muses.

You totally need to do something with the infamous "laughing scene". Yeah, the creepy one.

Also, where's my Seifer/Zell? I AM NOT PLEASED BY THIS but I still love you anyways.

I've said before that I love the voice you gave Auron in this fic, but I didn't mention that I love Tidus's, too. Probably because that hit me more subtly, though as I reread the line, "'Toast to what? I get to play in the game marking my old man’s disappearance. Can’t they just forget about him?'" it really hits me. As for Auron, he's even better when Tidus starts stripping. If I hadn't already been hooked by the pairing, I would be hooked by that point from wanting to see it through, see how Auron would react.

I think the only critique I have is an inconsequential one, that being that they should've gone all the way. But knowing that you had it set up so Tidus is tired, it makes sense for him to be needy, even a little brusque with his words because he just wants something physical. It just makes everybody start whining at you for more, though. ^_~ Not that I'm trying to peer pressure you OMG!

Anyway.

Thank you so much for writing this for me! I can't say it enough. It really makes me feel shiny inside. ^___^
