I have lots more pictures but this is the one I snapped with my camera phone to email to my dad. He talked me through the problem of the wall that's on the left side of the photo, which is basically rough framing around some freestanding pipes (the visible ones are part of the heating system). If you mean the floor, did you have any left over? I'm one tile short (I'll be piecing random things in the corner behind the toilet), but 5 would be better...

I meant the toilet, I used different tiles for the floor, sadly. It sucks to be just a few short.. I'm sorry.

Oh, no worries. I couldn't NOT ask though, just in case. I have a plan that will probably be good enough.

Awesome new toilet! I've enjoyed your stories of installing it, too. Not being a home owner myself, I always wonder about taking on projects like that.

All my life I've watched my dad do ANYTHING. And even though he often told me that the best help I could be was to get the hell out of the way (really!) I figured I could probably do it too. I don't always get it right, but I do enjoy it.

I'm actually seriously considering signing up for a plumbing certification course at the local tech school when the kids go back to school in September.
