Well, people in a couple of our Sacramento County offices are being laid off at the end of this month, and I am one of them. Just found out this morning. I always asked my boss that if this ever happened, that once she found out from management, that she would just tell me herself, so I wouldn't have to be pulled into a window-walled room by the ( Read more... )

working from home might give you a chance to get a 2nd job? besides the cigarette girl thing? i dont know.
i dont want you to move away, but if its what you think is the best for you. but living there is HELLA more expensive than here. and saving up to move there might take a lot longer than you think.
want to go to the drive in tonight?

Yeah, the stuff we have looked at is like at least 1000-1200 for a large one bedroom. We are working on convincing Dan to come with us, and the 2 bedrooms are about 17-18 thousand. But a lot of the jobs I have seen that I qualify for pay much more than here. we shall see.

I can't go tonight, but I can do Top Model tomorrow. Are we painting?

LA royally sucks. But becides that, you should look for another job even if it means you have to leave it and move to suck ass town. Seriously. You have a degree which is more than most people can say... so, I would not settle for this 'work from home stuff'. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
