Just a little something I had to whip up. It's not what I wanted but I can never write to please myself. Maybe this will give someone else a boost of inspiration from that scene, eh?

In the Closet

Who: Addison/Meredith

Rating: R

Disclaimer: God, I’d no longer be sexually deprived if I owned these characters.

“And really, I need a moment or two without you.”

“I get that.”

“Thanks.”

Meredith stepped out of the way and let the door close. “Actually, no,” she said out loud to no one, and turning around she opened the supply closet door and stepped in.

“I asked you to leave!”

“No. I’m not letting this go.” Meredith stepped over and knelt beside the older woman. Addison wiped her eyes and shifted away. Meredith leaned closer and wrapped her arms around Addison who pushed away aggressively. “Don’t fight me. Don’t fight.”

Addison began to cry harder as she pushed her hands against Meredith’s chest, “Don’t. Just don’t. Get off.”

“Addison!” Meredith hissed into her ear and wrapped her arms tighter around the struggling woman. “Addison, baby, it’s me. It’s just me now. Just you and me.”

Still struggling against the small body holding her, she sobbed, “You slept with him. We are still together. You and me, remember? And you slept with him.”

Touching her forehead to Addison’s, Meredith let out a sob, “You and me? You and me? How about two days before prom when you explicitly told me that we were over?”

“I didn’t mean it. I just said it because I was angry. Hurt. Confused.”

“Exactly. I didn’t mean to, you know, with him. I was angry. Hurt. Confused. And he was there. He’s always fucking there.”

Addison lifted her eyes and took in the gray of the younger woman’s. There used to be more life there, a sparkle. Now, it was gone, replaced by a twinge of red, sore from crying. She leaned forward and placed a tentative kiss on Mer’s lips. Once, twice, and soon Meredith was kissing her back. Softly at first, but soon her tongue gained entrance and the kiss they shared became ruthless and heated, releasing all the anger pent up over the last two weeks.

Slowly Addison let her hands drop down to rest on two slender hips. Her finger tips gently massaging circles around the elastic waistband of Meredith’s scrubs. Mer loosened her grasp and went to wipe away a falling tear. No words could describe the sadness she had seen in the redhead’s eyes. She leaned in for another kiss as her hand slowly slid up one thigh, over the silky smooth pantyhose and under the strait black skirt. A shiver was elicited when her fingers hit that spot, the one she knew, the one she’d missed. The intensity builds as Addison starts to move rhythmically against the slender hand. Meredith drops her head and fixates on neck in front of her, a neck of glowing, untouched skin, a neck that has gone too long without having been bitten in passion.

As Addison comes against the blonde’s shaking body her nails clench skin leaving little half moons for no one to see. As her breathing evens out she begins to cry again, quietly this time. Passion, anger, sadness; her marriage was over long ago and now she knew who would ultimately be there for her in the end.

They weren’t fixed. But they would get there.
