I am loving these. Is this really the process you go through when writing every single line or does it eventually come like second nature after awhile?

My first draft of anything I write is ridiculously badly written but if I try to follow "rules" I can't write. This means my drafts are basically garbage with potential. Many hours of editing later I have something that still needs revision work. My hope is that eventually some miracle will occur and I will be able to follow basic grammatical "rules" so editing is not that time consuming. Perhaps I should just accept that this is how I write and move on. :)

Thank goodness, it eventually becomes second nature. lol. At least some of it does. There are still some scenes that take forever to write and forever to edit.
