That's a really great piece of dialogue. What sort of genre is it?

I'm hoping to be done by Christmas too! We'll see how that goes.

Thanks! It's a contemporary YA. As long as the shopping, cooking and decorating doesn't get in the way, maybe...just maybe we'll make those goals. lol

Oh I hope so! It'd be nice to start submitting in the new year. Do you have an agent yet? When I'm ready, I'll be subbing to agents.

Nope, not yet. I have one YA out with a couple agents and an editor is waiting to reread after a revision on the same YA. No offers yet. :-( I'm hoping this book will be the one to seal the deal. :-) Of course, that's assuming the one that's out doesn't do it first, which by now I highly doubt. I've totally lost my faith in that one. I hate when I reach that point because I really liked it when I finished it.
