I believe I was. But also because I AM a certified cosmetologist and it always pet peeves me when anyone confuses it with cosmologist. (Yes I'm certified, yes I once had a license, yes I've worked as one before, no I do not have a single shred of interest in pursuing it as a major career).
Ha! This reminds of a reverse story! A few years back, there was an essay competition for highschools in my area to celebrate Science Day. There were few of us to judge those essays. One of the topics given was My Favorite Planet. A student started his essay describing how there are so many kinds of objects in the space. Only, he slipped a bit and said, "There are many cosmetic objects in the space." It was a co-judge who was reading it, and she was like, "Hmm, now I have this mental image of giant lipsticks and mascaras and eyeliners floating in space!" Poor student was confused between cosmic and cosmetic!
