I've come up with a number of New Year's resolutions. I'm sure most will be broken before the month is out. One of those resolutions is for me to post regularly. I'm sorry to hear about your brakes not working. That must have been really scary. I'm glad nothing was coming the other way.

J is also saying he's had enough of the ice and snow; it's getting him down as everything is so much hard work.

Yeah, it was really scary. It even beat the time I drove off of the highway in the middle of a blizzard (as at least that time there was absolutely no traffic).

Thankfully we haven't had any major blizzards or anything this year, so I haven't really had to do a lot of shoveling and other work. I feel for J, as that stuff sucks!

Thanks for the luck, but I already missed a day. *headdesk* Oh well. If I even post semi-regularly, it's better than I have been doing.

I can imagine. The nearest I ever came to anything like that was when I went into a skid on a roundabout. The front wheels just caught some ice and slow I was going the car just skidded. No harm was done to anyone, but it's a horrid feeling.

It does indeed suck. And I feel irrationally guilty even though there's nothing I can do to help. If he didn't have ME it wouldn't be so bad, but half an hour's shovelling and he's done in for the day.

Maybe you should revise the posting aim to three times a week? That way if you do more you win and if you don't manage every day you don't have to worry.

Wow, that sounds scary. I realized later I should have downshifted. It just goes to show that not having a car for three years really does make me forget the little things about driving.

I saw your post about the more snow. (I will comment there in a minute. (You're so getting comment spammed in my free hour. Sorry!)) Here's hoping that it starts tapering off.

Yeah, I think I'm going to try for every other day. It would be easier, I think, if I didn't end up having to post so often/so much for the newsletter. Last night's was crazy long and took quite awhile. (And that was after I'd spent 4 hours trying to quickly finish another 20in20 challenge. *headdesk*) The daily thing was more of a goal just so I posted something with some kind of regularity. Between that and trying to comment on f-list posts regularly, I'm trying to work my way back into LJ. :)
