Aha, I found you. Someone had posted a link somewhere, and I found your crochet pictures. Lovely! I've done some filet crochet, not a lot. I could see doing a doily of Rassilon and putting it into a SF con's charity auction, maybe give it to Interfilk or something. Would that be okay? Not exactly personal use, but I wouldn't be selling it, but they would be auctioning it.

In filet crochet charts like that, am I right in thinking that the solid blocks are 3 double crochets, and the blank blocks are you just do 3 chain? It's been a while since I've done filet crochet...

Hello! I'm glad that you like my Doctor Who crochet stuff.

I don't have a problem with you making a Doily of Rassilon and putting it in a con auction (doilies for everyone!). Though, I'd appreciate it if you point people here (maybe put my lj name / url on your item description), so if others want the pattern, they can find it.

I'm terrible at explaining filet crochet, but this page might help you out: http://crochet.about.com/library/weekly/aa050298.htm . Most people do 4 double crochets for the solid blocks (with the dc on each end shared with adjacent blocks) and chain two for the open blocks.

I, however, crochet very tightly and so have problems with gauge, so I usually do three dc per block and a single chain for open blocks, then wet block the finished piece to make everything square.

If you're on Ravelry, I plan to eventually post the patterns there, and I usually post new Doctor Who creations on the livejournal community crafty_tardis. I'm working ( ... )

I shall go look at that page. I crochet fairly tightly, but gauge isn't too bad, I just always assume I need to go up at least one hook size.

Oooh, I will be glad you're putting them up on Ravelry. Found you there, friended you.

Oh PLEASE please please develop and share (or sell, I don't care!) that dragonfly edging pattern? I WANT to do that. I have to figure out something I could put that on!

And I want to do the celtic knotwork doilies.

I foresee a resurgence of crochet in my life in the future!

Hi! I saw your filet crochet of the baby adipose on Ravelry.com. I, for one, would love it if you would make the pattern available for us Who fans.

I love your work.

Thank you! I just added the chart for the adipose, as well as for an ood design, to ravelry.

I'm a cross-stitcher who stumbled across your tardis pattern. Since you expressed an interest in seeing the finished products, you can see it here.

Just saw a finished version of your Tardis pattern over on the cross-stitch LJ community and loved it so much I had to track it down for myself. And I found your pattern here! So, thank you so much from a fellow crafter and Doctor Who fan! I hope you don't mind if I friend you.

I stitched the TARDIS in cross-stitch. Here's a link: http://rockstitch.blogspot.com/2008/08/meredee-tardis-cross-stitch-august-7th.html

It's a really great design - I'm trying to keep it a secret from my Dr. Who fan friends, because they're going to want me to stitch one for them, I can just tell!
