Looks like Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson are collaborating on a trilogy of Tintin films in CGI. I'm psyched! And dreading the rise of Tintin popularity. I'll be pissed if MacDo's starts tucking Captain Haddock figurines into their Happy Meal boxes. Hopefully an over-promotion will not wear on the public. I understand that. You are a devoted fan. Myself, I would have a harder time with the movie if it were animated, like it was trying to be on par with the books. But because this is live action, I dunno, I guess I see it as apples and oranges. A Tintin inspired apple. Which could bomb. In which case I will delightedly curl up with my comic book. What I dread is Tintin mania that could ensue... Not.cool.
