The apartment complex was so close to the hospital it was a nice walk back and forth from work. Not strenuous or at all long. But sometimes she just liked to walk to work on herself. And sometimes, she liked to be with Shinta a bit more. With a smile she road on the large bird's back, giving yawns from the late shift and relaxing there on the red chocobo ( ... )

Yuffie jumped to her feet when the chocobo cried out right in her ear. She attempted to muffle a surprised scream but failed as she whirled around on her feet.

Here eyes looked upon the chocobo for a moment before wandering up to Alma who was riding on it's back.

"...do you need any help?"

It took a few moments for the words to register in Yuffie's mind before she relaxed from the battle stance she haden't even realized she had taken.

Laughing nervously she placed her right arm behind her head and rubbed it nervously. "That would be great actually." She smiled, slightly happier. "I'm guessing you live here?"

Alma glanced up to the building that they were about to enter. Her key's were in her hand to. With an easy slide she got right off of Shinta and onto the ground.

"Mmmhmmm," she stated with a gentle nod. There were some circles under her eyes. Late night shifts at the hospital will do that to you... Covering for her sleepiness she smiled again, and Shinta moved to pick up the sack, easily drawing it into his beak before giving another playful wark.

"But yea. I'll be sure to help," her sea green eyes closed for a moment as she smiled. "Come on. I'll show you around. The building is a lil empty but... its nice. I like it."

"Thanks." Yuffie murmured as she watched Shinta pick up her sack. She blinked a few times before turning to look at Alma.

"You don't have to if you don't want to though. I understand." Yuffie said in haste taking notice of the bags under Alma's eyes. "But it would be greatly appreciated if you do." Yuffie added on with a slight smile.

She glanced up to the building and took a deep breath, not knowing to expect as she pulled out her key and the slip of paper with her room number on it out of her pocket.

"This is the room I was placed in." Yuffie held the paper up so Alma could see the number clearly. "Do you know what floor it's on?" Yuffie was starting to feel a little tired herself and was hoping she could find the room and collapse anywhere inside to get at least a little sleep.

Alma knew exactly what moving into a new room was like. Heck. After a job change she had to move into a second one! It was bigger and better though. "No no no no. It's not a problem. Really. I got this guy to help," she giggled happily before petting Shinta's head. Though she did agree, flopping on a bed did sound nice.

As they moved into the building she leaned down to look at the piece of paper, narrowing her eyes. "Oh." Pointing it out. "You see how this begins with a 4? That means you are on the fourth floor, room number 18. Which most likely if you go up the elevator would be..." She had to think for a moment before pointing right. "... That way? I think?"

Of course. Don't quote her on it. Shinta walked over to the elevator, which was large enough to take her and the large bird AND Yuffie. "You'll be glad they put you here. Honestly the rooms here are nice and furnished. I think it was... like an old retirement home at one point in time, or something. I dunno." Alma shrugged.
