Ok...this chapter deals with one of my biggest pet-peeves: people meddling with their friends' love lives and convincing them to go on blind dates because they decided their friends need to date someone. I understand that Emma was thinking about the future but it isn't her place to decide that Teaspoon need a woman beside him to help him to deal with the issues Lou might have while growning up. As well, it isn't their place to decide that Teaspoon need to settle down with someone else after losing Mary because otherwise he won't be happy. I'm not saying that he has to pine for his late wife forever and that he can't move on, but it would be him the one to decide when the right moment will arrive. On one thing they were right, Teaspoon's life is starting to revolve only around Lou and it might be good for him to do things without his daughter, otherwise their relationship risk to became too much esclusive; but this could simply mean enjoying some grown-up activities with his friends.
Yes, I know you're right. Even though Emma means well, she shouldn't have meddled in Teaspoon's social or love life. Teaspoon will manage to sort out his matters on his own. This episode will have some relevance for the future, especially concerning Lou's attitude.
Thanks for reading my story and commenting!!! I hope to have a new chapter this weekend. Teaspoon and Lou won't be alone much longer. In three chapters there will be an addition to the story... a familiar face... a character that will be vital in this story.
