monteverdi's Gloria
with plenty of solos and orchestra.
it'll be good. unfortunately, the choir sounds pretty awful right now. we've got 3 rehearsals to sound better. heh

i appreciate the thought. :)
Vivaldi is, indeed, very hot. but even he can't beat Mozart's "Requiem" or Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana." I'm praying that the choir will do Requiem before i graduate but i think that's very unlikely since i hear they did it the semester before i joined. blech. with so many pieces to choose from, why would they do one they already did recently, right? sucks for me... We did do Carmina Burana though. mmmm, I am so in love with the piece. the most absolutest and truest love there can be. I swoon just thinking about it. I'm not exaggerating.
aanywaay, don't get me started on choral music. it's the one topic i find it hard to shut up about. that and boooks.
