I was going to say across your ribs, like on your side, but I'm not sure how big you want to get it. If you're going for smaller, then the nape of your neck sounds awesome!

I'm going for a small one, even though across my ribs would be cool - if only I'd been more comfortable with my body. I've suffered from dermatillomania for many years, but have for the past few months managed to control my urge to pick. My back is nowhere near flawless, nor will it ever be, but I am happy with it now, and this is sort of a prize for "being good" :)

The guy/girl (don't know) who made this and posted it on DevArt (yes, have permission to use it), said it was meant as a calf piece - so you're not far off! :)

I like the nape of the neck a lot. It's a bit lower then where I have my cat :)
