I got the trial LadyCup earlier this week, but it had split in the bag during shipping. I knew the trial cups were faulty and therefore cheap, only "promising" one try. I've contacted the company, as others in menstrual_cups have done, but have not hear back form them yet.

There are warning signs on tampons in the US/Canada? I say remove all warning labels and let nature take its toll :P

You have a point, though, although I don't see bleached cotton as being any better than flannel or medical grade silicon. I'm not shoving bleach up there :P

i'm not sure if that's sarcasm, but yes.... in every box there's a pamphlet that explains the warnings and precautions of using tampons and the effect of ongoing use. i'm not sure about pads because i haven't used them since i was 11. now i use organic, unbleached tampons because i don't want dioxide in my vajayjay.

the cup (and the diaphragm) have been linked to cases of endometriosis (something i've already had extensive surgery for), so i think that aside from bleeding on a rag, everything has its risks, and some people are limited in seeking the proper answers.

I've also seen studied that show that using a cup won't give you endometriosis, so I guess it goes both ways.

I generally just use the cup all day, and night :P I'll consider it an experiment :)
