Weekend was fairly slow. Although we did a lot, it doesn't seem like it. After working out the chore schedule last weekend, we've managed to stick to it, and do stuff that's not no there (from now on called 'projects'). Having one or two tasks each day makes it seem manageable, and it really does not take long. For example, today's tasks are taking ( Read more... )

That reminds me of The Black Balloon. The father/husband uses a stuffed bear, called Rex, when he doesn't want to do something :P "Rex says I don't have to shower"

The dinnerschedule sounds like a really good idea -then you also can dedice what to shop on what you've allready got at home. :)

It's great that the housechors is also going good, let's hope it sticks that way too :)

oo hope T's class goes well :)

allrecipes.com is a pretty decent place to look for dinner ideas - they have lots of categories, like easy & healthy and such. i was reading that you spend less money at the store if you only go once a week - since we often buy the extra goodies that aren't on the list - hence the more times in the store the more stuff we buy that's non-essential.
