I read in three fandoms...Supernatural/Chryed (but only mercury's stuff) and a bit of RPF adam what'isname* and tommy joe ratliff..(but only because one of'my' authors happens to write that)
I read and write (a bit) in Torchwood... So that makes me...how old?
* lambert or something...

I do find a lot of the writers so much younger than I am, and they seem so much wiser..

I think it was you who got me 'into' Chryed..So I will read your fics! And comment because they are that good to me to read.
I am amazed in various fandoms how well some writers are capable of getting emotions across and how old (in the nice sense) they are..maybe I should use 'mature'..or 'wise' .
Those are the really good ones to read (and yes, you are definitely one of the good ones)
I do recognize the older sis/younger brother dynamics. Kill him/kiss him/even die for him...Spot on!

To be honest, most of the stuff I write about, especially when it comes to relationships and emotions, I have never experienced in that exact sense. So it comes a lot from trying to find a similar, however tenuous the similarity may be, situation that I have found in my own life, from talking to people who maybe have more experience than me and from drawing on other fictions (both fan and actual novels). I'm glad it works at the end of the day, because I'm always convinced I'm getting it completely wrong. (But that's just me - I'm not nice to myself sometimes :( ).

And I got you into Chryed?? Yay!!!! I feel as though I have achieved something fundamental in my life :D

Don't worry about having fewer reviews. I write stuff for Chryed and Supernatural and I only get a small fraction of reviews for Chryed than Supernatural. I'm also one of those people who read but rarely review as well, lol
